Sony found some time in between firing out new games at its Tuesday Gamescom presentation to announce some exciting news regarding PS Plus.
Goozex, the number one video trading site, has released a list of its most requested games of 2010, and in a surprise twist, three of the top ten are PlayStation 3 exclusives.
Although the majority of the gaming world that own PlayStation 3’s have them connected to the internet, there are still quite a few that do not. Because of this, those that can’t connect to the PSN usually find themselves hosed when it comes to DLC. Well there’s at least one set of DLC that they won’t have to worry about missing.
A couple of months ago we reported on the upcoming single player add-on pack for Red Dead Redemption, entitled Undead Nightmare. Back then, little was known, but Rockstar have just released a new trailer that reveals a bit more of the story.
Believe it or not, the PlayStation 3 was released nearly four years ago, and since then the console has been graced with hundreds of great titles. Therefore, we at PS3 Attitude thought we’d take some time to pay tribute to the people who create the games that make our mundane lives just that little bit more entertaining: the developers.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be revealing our one hundred favourite developers, and believe us when we say that there are some incredibly talented teams included. We’ve now revealed sixty developers in our mammoth list, and today we’re revealing ten more.
Rockstar have announced the next DLC pack for Red Dead Redemption, titled Liars and Cheats. This content adds new modes to competitive multiplayer, and expands the activities available in online free roam. However, they also announced the first singleplayer-based DLC, the Undead Nightmare pack.
One upon a time in a video game, outlaws ruled the roost, but that was before Rockstar came to town and declared war on these cheaters and rogues. Yes, as of tomorrow, everyone identified with a hacked save game on their console will run the risk of being kicked off Red Dead Redemption’s multi-player forever.
Screenshots from the upcoming Legends and Killers DLC for Red Dead Redemption have been released by Rockstar. Legends and Killers will arrive at the beginning of August, and it will be the first of the four DLC add-ons to released in the coming months.

Investing heavily on Red Dead Redemption was a risk for Take-Two. There was no guarantee that the public would buy into the concept of the game, so it could easily have ended up an expensive flop. Ben Feder, CEO of Take-Two, agrees and he has been speaking to VentureBeat of his delight that the gamble has paid off.
Rockstar have announced via their website that the first of three DLC packs for Red Dead Redemption, entitled Outlaws to the End, will be released on the PlayStation Network on June 22nd in North America (presumably June 23rd in Europe) – that’s less than three weeks away!

Rockstar UK general manager Neil Stephen has claimed that Red Dead Redemption is the company’s most ambitious game yet – even more ambitious than Grand Theft Auto IV.
Mutinies. Hardware wars. Dying consoles. Tax laws. A month in the games industry can cover a variety of headline-catching topics, but these should never steal the attention away from the true stars of the industry – the games.
The official Red Dead Redemption website is now listing all of the various pre-order bonuses for US and UK retailers. Rockstar are clearly going all out to promote this game and give consumers as much choice as possible.
