You are not imagining things. The brand which has conquered Indiana Jones and Star Wars is now taking on a new challenge; Rock Band. We have a trailer to prove it and everything! What else can you expect to come to a Rock Band game when you add LEGO? Bricks. Lots and lots of bricks…

We have another debut this week; a three-way debut. Ministry is bringing more metal to the Rock Band library with a three pack from hell. We say bring it on.

The Zombies are coming! The Zombies are coming! They are a 60′s English rock band, get it? The Cranberries complete the hat-trick debut with just one track, but we’ll take it anyway.

Alice Cooper is making his Rock Band debut this week and we don’t even have the proper face paint to honor this momentous occasion. Who is Alice Cooper you ask? UrbanDictionary.com has him as “One of the greatest rock artists ever who only stupid people havn’t [sic] heard of.” We have to agree.

Social Distortion gets the track pack honor this week with three tracks including Story of My Life. Disturbed return to Rock Band with two more tracks: Stricken and Stupify. The latter is from their debut album The Sickness.

This week is a Fratellis love-fest. Greetings from The Fratellis: Jon, Barry and Mince Fratelli (if those are their real names) are willing to be emulated in Rock Band. The boys from Glasgow, Scotland are lending three tracks from their 2006 album CostelloMusic.

Thin Lizzy have a new live CD, and Rock Band has a three pack to celebrate. It’s an all out 70′s attack this week, classic singles from The Pretenders and Pat Benatar compliment Rock Band’s stellar DLC lineup. There’s also this Nikko fella crashing the party but don’t mind him, we’ll have the road crew straighten him up in no time.

The Dead are back with another half dozen tracks for the rocking masses. There should be a track to your liking in this second Grateful Dead pack even if you are not a Deadhead; psychedelic rock, reggae, back porch country (whatever that is) and straight up rock’n'roll are among your choices. If it weren’t for the inclusion (and Rock Band debut) of Snow Patrol, this would have been an all 70′s classic rock track pack. James Gang, Jethro Tull and Deep Purple come back from the past with tracks dating from 1970, 1971 and 1972 respectively. Neat huh?

Guitar Hero is not offering holiday songs? Well don’t worry my holidazed friends, Rock Band is here to shred that Grinch back into the Disco era. Get ready to Rock the Holidays. There is also a Foo Fighters three pack thrown in for good measure.
