Another week on Twitter – and what a week it was.
On Tuesday we kicked off our Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta key contest and saw an explosion of new followers. Welcome to one and all.
Nothing really else happened on the feed this week so, if you want to see how the contest went – blow by blow – read on.
Many thanks to all our new (and existing) followers who dutifully re-tweeted and put their names into the virtual hat for an Uncharted 2 multi-player beta code.
The following people have now all received codes and should be well on their way towards plundering and co-operating with the best of them.
Congratulations to: attattattack, CrashDude55, Eweor, HempEffect, jonathan_bright, MaKUltra, meiklzh, Moose772 and YoBrenoops.
As PS3 Attitude continues to grow as a site, it’s quite evident that we’re very much reliant on you, our dear readers, to keep us going.
For the uninitiated, each Tuesday we run PSFree Attitude, a weekly Twitter-based giveaway that sees us hide game and DLC codes for both the EU and NA PlayStation Store throughout the site and invite our Twitter followers to locate and redeem them before anyone else. It’s a fun way of interacting with you guys and we freely admit it’s designed to increase awareness of the site. That said, not everyone who comments on the site is following us on Twitter and are hence automatically excluded from winning. We feel it’s time to address this.
You’ll have to forgive us. After spending over fifty hours creating our comprehensive Games Database (212 games documented!), we were somewhat burned out and a little hesitant to return to the scene of the crime anytime soon.
That said, we’ve definitely neglected our new baby and, since the database’s debut, buckets of new games for the PS3 were announced (or, you know, we’re pretty sure they’re coming).
Rather than just surreptitiously update the Database in the background, we thought you might be interested in the new games that are now tagged and sitting pretty on our virtual shelf.
We’ve gathered the troops and rated each and every one of the 222 games currently planned for the PS3 this year. After some voodoo mathematics and some bizarre stares at the results, the cream has truly risen to the top. Check out PS3 Attitude’s Most Wanted Games of 2009.
PS3 Attitude embraces what all the other cool kids are talking about and creates a Twitter account. Follow us and find out what we’re up to, the fact that Danny doesn’t sleep and what studio Brodiesan is currently harrassing for an interview.
