The final box art for Street fighter IV has been unveiled and guess what, Chun-Li’s 15 minutes are officially up in North America until the Chun-Li-centric Street Fighter movie opens (why?). Capcom has done their homework in the form of listening to fans through their Unity boards, other interweb outlets and oddly enough, laser cats.
Details emerged today about North America’s Street Fighter IV Collector’s Edition. The European Collector’s Edition details have been widely know for some time now. There are some differences between the two and since we cater to both sides of the pond we have decided to pit both Collector’s Editions in (Mortal Kombat?) a Street Fight to find out which one comes out on top.

Yesterday, we informed you about the release dates of Capcom’s upcoming titles. Today, we are here to let you know how confident the lads at Capcom are about their future releases. And why shouldn’t they be? Street Fighter IV has made us super duper anxious and so has – maybe even more – Resident Evil 5!

[sfiv] It seems that the first quarter of 2009 is going to be an extremely active period for Capcom, since a great number of their creations is going to be thrown at the battle.
Starting from the most anticipated Street Fighter IV, Capcom announced – by telling MCV – that the game is going to hit the stores on February 20th, 2009.
Capcom sent us this reminder that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (that’s quite a mouthful) is still on it’s way. 20 new screens from the game show off it’s superb 1080p HD graphics. This set features Balrog, Chun-Li, and Vega. With all 17 original fighters, online matches and more, SSFIITHDR is looking to please Street Fighter fans everywhere. Keep your eyes on the PSN Store when the downloadable game hits this Fall.
Although SF IV has already started its “career” at the Arcades, the release date for the PS3 version still remains unknown.
Even Yoshi Ono failed to give an answer to when his creation is going to visit us. But he did let us know that the development is almost finished, with Capcom now meddling with other sectors, like Online features.
