Welcome to our monthly feature were we tell the world what’s been happening over the last month at PS3 Attitude.
It’s almost a personal crusade at this point but, after numerous delays and promises, Vagrant Story will finally hit the EU PSN on December 22nd (next Tuesday).
We’ve already spoken about why it’s a classic, but if you don’t trust us, trust the Japanese. They gave it 40/40 in Famitsu.

The story, the execution, how it perfectly balances role-playing elements with action and story – it’s an absolute triumph.
Considering the PS1 classic hit the Japanese PSN a few months ago, we speculated that it would only be a matter of time before other PS Stores around the globe would be graced with its presence.
That time is now. Well, that time is November 12th. Same difference.
Just like Xenogears from last week’s column, Square’s Vagrant Story bucks numerous staple JRPG trends, this time, however, in completely different areas.
One of only eleven games to receive a perfect 40/40 score from Famitsu, and the only PlayStation 1 title to feature in the list, Vagrant Story wowed fans across the globe upon its release back in 2000 and went on to become one of the most loved, if somewhat forgotten, of the many illustrious Square RPGs.
