This week, PS3 Attitude has been discussing PSN trophies, or more specifically, trophies that must have spawned from the depths of hell. Everyone loves trophies, but occasionally a challenge will come along that is so ridiculously hard and/or time consuming, you have to think to yourself; what’s the point? These are our picks for 5 of the most evil trophies on PSN.
In February 2010, the international version of the PS3-exclusive JRPG White Knight Chronicles was released, over a year after the game first appeared on store shelves in Japan. Despite selling well in its native country, the title failed to truly strike a chord with critics and gamers in the West, due to its lacklustre story, disappointing online mode, and several other issues.
White Knight Chronicles II came out a few weeks ago in Europe, this time only eleven months after it originally released in Japan (unfortunately North America is still waiting for a firm release date, but the title is finally expected to arrive in September). So, the question is, has developer Level-5 improved upon the shortcomings of the game’s predecessor?
White Knight Chronicles II was released in Japan last July and since then, fans have been wondering when an international release date would be set. After months of anticipation, SCEE announced that the game will be released this May in Europe alongside a PSP version acting as a prequel to the original story.
Believe it or not, the PlayStation 3 was released nearly four years ago, and since then the console has been graced with hundreds of great titles. Therefore, we at PS3 Attitude thought we’d take some time to pay tribute to the people who create the games that make our mundane lives just that little bit more entertaining: the developers.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be revealing our one hundred favourite developers, and believe us when we say that there are some incredibly talented teams included. We’ve now revealed forty developers in our mammoth list, and today we’re revealing another ten.
Another week, another report of a publisher considering use of an ‘Online Pass’ type system. However this time the publisher in question is Sony – and the game is White Knight Chronicles 2.
