Marvel Pinball Civil War – The PS3 Attitude Review

Marvel Pinball tables have typically been about heroes versus villains; good against evil. The Civil War story arc throws that out the window and pits superheroes Captain America and Iron Man against each other in a heated battle over the introduction of the Superhuman Registration Act. This time around, it’s not about what mission to complete but more so about whose side you’re on…

Zen Pinball 2 – The PS3 Attitude Review

Over the recent years, Zen Studios has developed some of the best original pinball tables the videogame world has seen. Zen Pinball introduced gamers to unique creations such as Tesla and V12 as well as partnered tables for beloved franchises including Street Fighter and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. It wasn’t until 2010’s Marvel Pinball that we received a flurry of superhero based tables that heavily incorporated storytelling and fully animated characters and voice acting into the mix, surpassing its predecessor it almost every manner. Determined to outdo itself once again, Zen Studios has unleashed Zen Pinball 2 unto the masses with a completely overhauled user interface and improved visuals and physics. Is this the definite version of the game or has the studio launched its final ball?

20 games to sign off PS Vita’s first year

PS Vita was tragically undersold by Sony during their E3 keynote speech. An early leak spoiled the Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation announcement, so our only “surprise” came when we got a title for an already announced Call of Duty game. Oh, we got a logo too.

We’ve scanned the list of confirmed upcoming games. Here are some of the most noteworthy

PS3 Attitude’s 20 Days of PSN – #14: Marvel Pinball

When it comes to pinball games, Zen Studios is the champion. First the development studio brought us creative tables that delved into the depths of our imagination with Zen Pinball. What originally started as four tables soon evolved to 11, including tribute tables to popular franchises such as Street Fighter and Ninja Gaiden.

Then in 2010, they kicked it up a notch and released Marvel Pinball; a collection of tables devoted solely to our favorite superheroes. Who doesn’t like Blade, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Wolverine? Marvel Pinball essentially revitalized the pinball genre and brought it to a whole new audience.

For this reason, we have selected Marvel Pinball as our #14 pick in PS3 Attitude’s Top 20 PSN titles.

Zen Studios is primarily known for its downloadable pinball titles. Since 2009, the independent development studio has been supporting Zen Pinball with additional DLC tables as well as another stand-alone title, Marvel Pinball, which features our favorite superheroes and villains battling it out for ultimate pinball dominance.

Marvel Pinball – The PS3 Attitude Review

Pinball fans, rejoice! Zen Studios, the makers of the popular Zen Pinball, are at it again. This time, they are providing four new tables based on characters from the Marvel universe. Unlike the recent pinball releases from Zen, this is actually a stand alone title and not downloadable content.

Does the combination of Marvel and Pinball make for a great game or is there simply not enough content to justify the price?

ZEN Pinball: Earth Defense – The PS3 Attitude Review

Earth Defense is the latest add-on for ZEN Pinball. Unlike the Street Fighter II and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 pinball tables, Earth Defense is not based on a popular video game franchise.

We enjoyed ZEN Pinball when it was originally released a year ago but is the Earth Defense table worth buying?
