PS3A PlayTime: 6th-12th May 2013
It’s been a long time coming, but there’s some much needed variety in today’s PS3 Attitude PlayTime. This week’s videogame playlist included an eclectic mix of Final Fantasy XIII, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Persona 4 (on PS2!), Soul Sacrifice, Spec Ops: The Line and Thomas Was Alone. OK, it’s perhaps not a massive departure, but it’s definitely progress!

Batgirl shows off her skill set in Injustice: Gods Among Us gameplay trailer
Barbara Gordon, more commonly known as Batgirl, is joining the fray in Injustice: Gods Among Us and this time it’s personal.
In DC Comics graphic novel The Killing Joke, The Joker brutally shot Barbara and is the reason behind her paralysis. Due to the alternate Universes in Injustice, we assume that Batgirl has either regained the ability to walk through technology or was never attacked. Regardless, she’s seemingly very annoyed with The Joker and hopefully we’ll find out more during her arcade story.

Krieg the Psycho joins Borderlands 2 next week
Cel-shaded RPG Borderlands 2 is receiving its sixth playable class in the form of Krieg the Psycho. In case his title didn’t make it clear, he’s a psycho. A psycho with really, really bad speech.
He, like Gaige the Necromancer, will not be part of the Season Pass.
PS3A PlayTime: 29th Apr-5th May 2013
If you bet that this week Majiesto has been playing Soul Sacrifice, MitchJay92 has been playing every Persona game ever made, and I’ve been playing BioShock Infinite and Final Fantasy XIII, then I have very good news: you win! Yes, like the ever-predictable people that we are, we’ve been playing those same games yet again. But there’s always next week, right?
Persona 4 Arena – The PS3 Attitude Review

With the return of the Investigation Team from P4, several characters from P3 and Arc System Works’ ability to make an in-depth and immersive fighter, can P4 Arena compete with the best of its genre?
The PS3A Weekly Roundup: 29th Apr-5th May 2013
This week, PS3 Attitude heard from upcoming games Diablo III, Killer Is Dead, Persona 4: Arena, and a little-known title called something like Grand Theft Auto V. We also saw the formation of a new studio in France, and posted our definitive review of the superb indie platformer Thomas Was Alone.

Thomas Was Alone – The PS3 Attitude Review
The inventive puzzle-platformer Thomas Was Alone has been described by its creator, Mike Bithell, as ‘a game about rectangles and friendship’. However, as you may have guessed from the somewhat melancholy title, there’s a lot more going on here than that.

Developer Grasshopper Manufacture aren’t new to excess blood, animated graphics and iconic women as made evident by their previous works including No More Heroes and Lollipop Chainsaw. All of which come from the creative mind of Goichi Suda, more commonly known as Suda 51.
Pre-order Diablo 3 and receive XP-boosting Infernal Helm
With a game like Diablo 3 in-game experience points are important and are necessary to progress onward same as with most games within the RPG bracket. Blizzard seem to be aware of this and are offering a XP-boosting Infernal Helm to anybody who pre-orders Diablo on the PS3, and we assume, the PS4.

We know you won’t believe it, but this week there’s been a massive shakeup and we’ve all been playing completely new games that haven’t been featured in PlayTime ever before! Oh, actually scratch that; on closer inspection, it looks like we’ve all been playing exactly the same games that we played last week. It’s an easy mistake to make – sorry about that.
The PS3A Weekly Roundup: 22nd-28th Apr 2013
It’s been a pretty quiet week in the industry, with no major releases or announcements. Even so, we still got some interesting titbits of info, including a US release date for obscure JRPG Dragon’s Crown, and the news that PS Move survival horror Until Dawn has added DualShock 3 controls (probably a good thing).

Skyrim, one of 2011’s highest-rating titles, is receiving a Legendary Edition which will contain both the full game, all released DLC and some extra features available through patches.
Bethesda aren’t new to the idea of releasing ultimate editions of their games a while after release, and so those who had the patience to wait will finally be rewarded in the form of saving money.
