Derrick the Deathfin – The PS3 Attitude review

Derrick the Deathfin is a lovely little game about a shark who has recently witnessed his parents deaths. This spurs him on to do greater things i.e. destroy the companies of the people who caused their deaths and kill everybody inside as an act of revenge.

Maybe it isn’t so lovely after all, but Derrick is still rather cute.

Capcom has released a trailer for upcoming Dontnod developed title Remember me, showcasing brutal fights and gorgeous scenery.

A huge emphasis is placed on one of the featured bosses – Kid Xmas – as he and Nilin duke it out in what looks to be a par-real, part-digitised wrestling arena.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 adds new golfers, courses, LPGA and more

EA Sports is pulling no punches with the list of enhancements and additions to Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14. The next iteration in the licensed PGA Tour series will come with full PlayStation Move motion controller support and is expected to release on 26 March in North America, 28 March worldwide.

The PlayStation 3 has had its fill of Disney game titles including one Phineas & Ferb game subtitled The Next Dimension. Disney Interactive will now be collaborating with Majesco to bring the next Phineas & Ferb game to retail consoles and gaming handhelds August 2013.

PS3A Writer’s GOTY: Tales of Graces f

As a huge lover of JRPG’s, it only makes sense that my game of the year choice is a JRPG. Tales of Graces f is a game that I had been interested in for a long time before I actually purchased it, and I wished I had bought it earlier.

2012 has had its fair share of ups and downs within the gaming community, and since the world didn’t end last week, we’re picking our favorites out of the year. Stefhutch20 kicked things off yesterday with a tribute to his favorite release, Final Fantasy XIII-2.
While there have been some strong contenders for my personal choice for Game of the Year such as Journey or Borderlands 2, none have impressed me more than Spec Ops: The Line. From its immersive story to its strong gameplay, Spec Ops: The Line has left a lasting impression on me, enough that it has claimed my pick for Game of the Year.

PS3A Writer’s GOTY: Final Fantasy XIII-2

As we rapidly approach the end of the current console generation, it should have come as no surprise that 2012 was a relatively quiet year in the world of videogames. Even so, we were still treated to tons of great titles including highly anticipated sequels such as Mass Effect 3 and Black Ops 2, new IPs like Kingdoms of Amalur and Sleeping Dogs, and let’s not forget the launch of the PlayStation Vita!

However, since the start of the year there has been only one contender that could ever hope to earn the title of my own personal game of the year: Final Fantasy XIII-2.
