E3 may have come and gone, but Eurogamer have only now published an interview they conducted at the huge event with Take-Two’s Ellie Gibson.

Agent was one of the big announcements from Sony’s conference, although it left gamers unsure on what the title will be like as little information was provided…

Kotaku have apparently come across some new and interesting details regarding Sony’s upcoming PlayStation Eye plus new motion controller technology.

Demoed at this year’s E3 to much aplomb, hordes of people are intrigued about just what the device is capable of, and with the technology already in the hands of developers, it’s no surprise that certain aspects of the exciting concept are now coming out.

The statement, resounding around the internet yesterday like a wrecking ball, has caused many people to weigh in with their opinions on why such an eminent figure in the gaming industry would come out with such a bold and, let’s face it, totally incredulous statement.

You might recall our February article where we reported the terrible news that, according to the resume of an ex-Obsidian Entertainment designer, and after a big alien-themed feasibility study performed over at Sega HQ, the publisher had decided to cancel their upcoming RPG featuring acidic xenomorphs, burly marines and wonky “Artificial Persons”.

Reports of the game’s demise may have been exaggerated however and, in fairness, we really should have known better. After all, who doesn’t lie on their C.V.?

After the success of Final Fantasy VII finally landing onto PlayStation stores in North America – and then a few days later in Europe – another Final Fantasy has been submitted and reviewed by the ESRB rating board for the US and Canada.

Final Fantasy Tactics will be published by SCEA in North America and has received a Teen rating by the board, as did the original PSOne release, for the PS3 and PSP platforms.

You may recall how we applauded EA last year for taking a small step away from the safety of sequelitis and investing in new IPs such as the chilling Dead Space and the free-running spectacle of Mirror’s Edge.

Both games, received well by (most) critics and (nearly all) gamers alike, now have the opportunity to see what life is like on the other foot with the previously announced Visceral Games developed follow-up to Dead Space now joined by the inevitable – Mirror’s Edge 2.

Another week on Twitter – and what a week it was.

On Tuesday we kicked off our Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta key contest and saw an explosion of new followers. Welcome to one and all.

Not to be outdone by Europe, the North American store update is even bigger. It may not have Vidzone, but it does have the likes of three new downloadable titles, another PSOne classic, a couple of demos, and an uncountable number of add-on content.

E3 is not just about the video games and booth babes. There’s much more to it than that, after all, you can’t hear that sneaky Helghast sneak up without a decent surround sound system or execute a perfect head shot in Call of Duty 4 with simply a Dualshock 3? Sure, it can get the job done but you want to be the best out there, don’t you?

We had the chance to try out Tritton Technologies latest surround sound headset, the AX Pro, which brings the ultimate listening experience straight to your ears. In addition, we also tested SplitFish’s FragFX controller designed specifically for the PS3.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma was one of the first must-have games on the PS3. The graphics were beautiful and the gameplay was spectacular. The game had its fair share of problems too, most notably, the camera angles. It’s good to hear, then, that Team Ninja has addressed this issue for the upcoming Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. The game takes everything that made the original Sigma good, and makes it better.

Exclusive to GameStop (and only in Spain), the PS3 is now available for €299.98 with two games. The bundles on offer include Gran Turismo 5 Prologue + MotorStorm, Resistance + Uncharted, GTA4 + Midnight Club Los Angeles, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue + GTA or, if you’d rather just one newer title, the console along with Killzone 2 for the same price.

We don’t know how long the offer lasts so, if you’re in Spain, Rápido! Rápido! Get them while you can.

We got a chance to see EA’s Dante’s Inferno up close at this year’s E3 and are happy to confirm that Visceral Games, the team behind the pant-wetting and well-received Dead Space, have only gone and done it again and have created something truly chilling.

By now everyone should be familiar with the concept behind Dante’s Inferno. Based on Dante Aligehri’s 13th century canticle of perdition, love and loss, the game takes a few things from The Divine Comedy and “re-imagines” them for the purpose of creating an exciting videogame.
