Our ‘Best DLC’ award winners for 2008 are at it again. Criterion are about to release yet another free update for Burnout Paradise.
Arriving on February 6th, the latest update brings a whole raft of changes and is timed to coincide with their first paid-for DLC, the Burnout Paradise Party Pack.
So what can you expect from this latest downloadable delectation?
Monday’s patch will have numerous behind the scenes fixes like stability improvements and whatnot, but the gem in this patch is a fix for the competitive and cooperative character level 1 reset bug. Not only will all your previous XP/stats/attributes come back intact, but it will also add up all the XP/stats/attributes that you may have earned since the bug ate your stuff. Awesome news.
Medal and Trophy problems are being addressed as well, like the “Killing Machine†trophy bug. If you already met the requirement for a Trophy but you still haven’t earned it, it will pop up right after the patch works its magic. Read on for the main patch details.
