Straight from the annals of “We could have told you that ages ago” zombie frag-fest Dead Rising has been confirmed as a multiplatform title with the PS3 now being shown some undead love. Eww … that didn’t come out right.

SEGA’s One Of A Kind Vinyl Charity Auction – One Day Left

Amongst the usual content in next weeks Qore, both annual subscribers and people who purchase the digital magazine issue will receive a nice surprise. According to 1UP.com, a voucher for the original PS1 classic, Syphon Filter is included. And by included we mean “E-mail vouchers will be provided to annual subscribers and all those who purchase Episode 09 on or before March 31.”
SOCOM Confrontation coming March 09 in Europe
SOCOM European team member Shijima has confirmed official release dates for SOCOM: Confrontation in Europe and Australia.
The game first released last October in North America and Japan however it was unfortunately delayed till 2009.
Home 1.10 is live worldwide
The Home 1.10 update is now live after a little hiccup yesterday which meant that Sony had to delay the update until today.
2009 PS3 Games Database launched today
Following the incredible work Brodiesan put into the Games of 2009 series, we have now consolidated everything into a single 2009 PS3 Games Database so you can keep tabs on what is on the horizon for our favourite console.
We’ll be constantly updating the database as the year progresses to ensure it is the one place you can visit to find out what is going on with your favourite games. It’ll also be a good place to hang out if you want to impress your friends with some of the more obscure titles (“What do you mean you haven’t heard of Islands of Wakfu”).

The Punisher: No Mercy! Headed to PSN this Spring
The good folks over at PlayStation.Blog have given us an update on the upcoming PSN exclusive title, The Punisher: No Mercy. Aside from the six awesome looking screenshots just released, they have given us a Spring release date.
Gamers will get the chance to play as the popular vigilante as well as your favorite friends and enemies including Barracuda, Bushwacker, Jigsaw and Silver Sable. Prepare yourself for some destruction and mayhem when the game hits this Spring…

Home update 1.10 confirmed for Friday in US
The latest Home 1.10 update, which brings fixes and improvements like faster boot time and avatar graphics loading, has been unfortunately delayed. SCEA Home manager CydoniaX confirms however that the update will go live on Friday afternoon instead.
Burnout Paradise 1.60 update LIVE
If you have been eagly waiting for the 1.60 patch for Burnout Paradise, then you will be happy to hear it has gone live.
The update weighs in at around 254MB which is quite big compared to the average size of an update for a game.
Street Fighter IV Championship Mode Announced
Not too long ago, just a few hours to be exact, we brought you news that Street Fighter IV would be getting alternate costumes in Japan. Well we now know that those same costumes will be hitting North American shores in packs of five as well, beginning February 17th for $3.99 each.
What we didn’t know then is that more DLC is on its way. Announced today is Championship Mode, an expansion pack which will add new and unique gameplay options to the game. Oh, and did I mention that it will be available free of charge?
SCEA reveals what’s to come to Home
As promised yesterday, SCEA have updated Home fans with what is to come for a certain online service that hasn’t been overly popular with everyone since it debuted last year.
Remember though, it’s still in beta.
Killzone 2 pre-orders past 1.1 million in Europe
With all this press with still 3 weeks to go before the game arrives, it’s no wonder Killzone 2 is selling well.
However what is surprising is an interview in the Guardian with David Reeves from SCEE who confirmed that European pre-orders had surpassed 1.1 million.
