With promises of TV that I could pause, fast-forward and rewind, as well as record on a whim, I plunged in and bought the diminutive gadgety add-on.

According to EA CEO John Ricitello, the company is happy with it’s improved metacritic scores. The number of games with scores of over 80 jumped from 7 last year to a mighty 17 this year.
But is that good enough for the lofty expectations of EA? No, nein, nacht, non and nei. They want things to be even better in the new year, and have some plans as to how to make that dream a reality.

Details emerged today about North America’s Street Fighter IV Collector’s Edition. The European Collector’s Edition details have been widely know for some time now. There are some differences between the two and since we cater to both sides of the pond we have decided to pit both Collector’s Editions in (Mortal Kombat?) a Street Fight to find out which one comes out on top.

Capcom has fessed up that the European Trial version and the North American trophy patch were actually leaked and not ready for prime time at all. That is the reason you may be experiencing stability issues, connection problems and, if you live in Europe, an overwhelming feeling of exclusion. A patch is coming soon to fix all this. We finally have it people; the release date for 2009′s game of the year, Killzone 2, has been revealed. Right at the end of an interview on G4 TV.
The video itself mostly consists of someone being shot to bits while running about with two new weapons, one of which is the flamethrower. It has to be said, this looks very much like the best weapon in the game, and the visuals are looking extremely close to that render footage seen wa back in 2005.
But the guns on display here are merely the cherry on the cake…
In my blatant hunt for easy trophies this week, I came across 2 stories which filled me with glee. Two games are to be patched with trophies in the near future. In fact, they already were. Then one wasn’t. Then it never was in the first place.
