Square Enix has revealed a new Lighting Returns trailer, dubbed The Divine Task, which gives us a deeper insight in to the tone of the game and what the focus of the story will be.
It does seem that SE are pushing Lightning to be the ultimate Final Fantasy character, and luckily for us, we love Lightning.

Alongside Kingdom Hearts III, Square Enix also announced the rebranding of Final Fantasy Versus XIII to Final Fantasy XV. A new trailer with gameplay accompanied this announcement and can be seen below.

The long-awaited HD update of Final Fantasy X has finally broken cover for the first time since its reveal at the Tokyo Game Show in 2011.
Square Enix presented it at at the Vita Heaven event, a Sony event dedicated to Vita and its upcoming releases, and gave a small taste of what it will look like on the brilliant handheld.

As we rapidly approach the end of the current console generation, it should have come as no surprise that 2012 was a relatively quiet year in the world of videogames. Even so, we were still treated to tons of great titles including highly anticipated sequels such as Mass Effect 3 and Black Ops 2, new IPs like Kingdoms of Amalur and Sleeping Dogs, and let’s not forget the launch of the PlayStation Vita!
However, since the start of the year there has been only one contender that could ever hope to earn the title of my own personal game of the year: Final Fantasy XIII-2.
