As you may already know, PS3 Attitude will be next week in Los Angeles to cover E3 and to meet with readers and industry friends while sharing a few drinks and giving away cool prizes.

You can’t wait for some more JRPG action in your PS3? In fact, neither can we after watching a sneak peek of Level-5′s White Knight Chronicles E3 trailer. It looks so…monumental. Were you expecting the ‘e’ word? Sorry, Phreaky owns the exclusive rights to that one; he won them in a hand of poker against Eidos. Don’t ask.

It’s Thursday, and it’s time for another Homerun, the weekly run-through of whats happening in and around the world of PlayStation Home.

There are a few good things to talk about so let’s go straight into it ok?

The North American Video Store has sported a ‘Search’ feature ever since its debut at last year’s E3.

Strangely, Sony has never decided to add the feature to the game front of the PlayStation Store in an effort to help sort through the ever-growing list of demos, trailers and wallpapers – well until now that is.

The battle of the turntables has officially begun. In one corner, we have Scratch: The Ultimate DJ. In the other, it’s DJ Hero. Who will reign victorious?

Numark Industries, in conjunction with Genius, Inc. have released the first images of the controller for Scratch: The Ultimate DJ under the title SCRATCH DECK. Why it’s in all caps? We’re not sure but it could have something to do with it being ultimate and all.

As waiting for countdowns to expire just isn’t our thing, we’ve kept unusually quiet about the whole “Kojima-gate” speculation rattling around the intertubes over the last few weeks.

It’s not that we thought you weren’t interested – we know you are – but, rather than report on a counter (or a counter counting down to another counter), we thought we’d wait for some substance before offering up our opinion.

The roster of great LBP content is set to continue this week with the release of the latest set of snazzy outfits. Based on the 2000AD comic series, we ‘judge’ that these new wardrobe additions to the LBP canon will prove to be hugely popular.

Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time is set to land on the PS3 at the end of this year and we at Attitude Towers are keeping a firm eye on how the game is progressing.

And so we were delighted when we heard (literally) that it is being hyped up to be even bigger than the previous Ratchet and Clank game on the PS3; Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction.

Kamiya-san’s kinetic tale of bullets and witches is looking more and more impressive and, dare we say, adult. Expect coarse language, furtive glimpses of supple witch-flesh (we mentioned Bayonetta’s clothing is essentially what amounts to sentient hair, right?) and totally over the top action.

According to our friends over at 9lives.be, Sony Belgium stated in a recent interview that we may not see the introduction of PSN Cards any time soon, if ever.

These have been in circulation for some time in the NA and Japan Territories, but have yet to show face anywhere in the EU region. Why is that, exactly?

A mixture of previously seen sceenshots and a motley array of delicious concept pieces, we’ve got some new God of War III images to bring to your attention.

Considering we once described watching a particular GOWIII trailer as like “dipping your eyeballs into a vat of angels having sex” we can only attempt to match such a descriptive simile by claiming that the consumption of these new screenshots is akin to pouring cool jelly down your pants on a hot sunny day.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Realtime Worlds’ regarding potential GTA killer APB, or All Points Bulletin if you’re down with that whole law-enforcement lingo.

Popping up over at the APB Game Community site APB Evolved, the shadowy “Ulric” (also known as Realtime Worlds’ Community Manager Chris Dye) has bestowed a new screenshot of the sandbox crime MMO currently in development.

Today PS3 Attitude is pleased to announce that not only will we actually be at E3 2009, but we’re also hosting our own charity shindig.

Yes, this is your chance to meet us in person in Los Angeles and have a drink with us and our friends and contacts from the video game industry.

And if that wasn’t enough, as well as helping us raise some serious cash for our Charity Fund, you’ll get the chance to win some cool prizes too.

With only a fractional increment in the version number, don’t expect the fresh 2.76 PS3 Firmware update to do a hell of lot in terms of new features or radical improvements.

In other words, for those of you holding out for cross game chat and other similar wonderments; we’re afraid you’re going to have to wait (for E3 no doubt).

The sequel to one of Sony’s main titles for the launch of the PS3 hasn’t had a lot of press since release, which is an odd thing considering it’s not a bad game.

Well today we have some news on the game to talk about with you. The game has got its second major patch.

With E3 being less than a month away, expect to see a flutter of press releases coming from every direction. Sony have done us the honor of releasing the list of games they will be bringing to this years convention.

There really are no surprises in what we see. What will surprise us, though, are the secret and juicy games NOT on the list.
