Not much new content to speak of on the European front this week (don’t worry this week’s North American update was one of the worst the store has ever seen). Instead a few of the PS3 more successful retail titles are now available via excessively long download.
Take a look.

Released in 2009, Borderlands was met with widespread critical acclaim that praised the first person shooter and RPG mechanics which set the game apart from all others. So, what can we expect from the role-playing shooter sequel?

This week is all about demos and add-on content. Yes there are more minis on sale this week (the same from last week) but you saw that coming.
Highlights this week include demos for Dragon Age 2 and Yakuza4. If you’re looking for add-on content, Fallout: New Vegas – Dead Money is hitting the store to go with brand new downloads for Killzone 3 and Need for Speed.
Of course that’s not all the store has to offer this week. Check out the list and start downloading.
As Gran Turismo 5 launches today, there will undoubtedly be some of you wondering whether or not to buy the game or not. Here’s 5 things you should know about GT5.
We hope you like downloadable content, because there isn’t much else to get excited about in this update; although to be fair with add-ons for EyePet, Front Mission: Evolved, God of War III, Guitar Hero, Hustle Kings, Just Cause 2, ModNation Racers, My Aquarium, PAIN and Rock Band, there’s quite a bit to choose from.
The biggest release this week is probably the awesome role-playing title, Grandia, which has finally been released as a PSone classic. Other games include Crescent Pale Mist (no, we hadn’t heard of it either), a bundle of Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype & The Last Chapter, and three new minis.
Other than that it’s just the usual themes, avatars, videos, and FirstPlay for those in the UK and Ireland. MUBI, the independent film streaming service is now also available in more countries, and with the quiet Store update there’s no excuse not to try it out.
So, anything take your fancy this week?
Hey there, it’s time once again for the PlayStation Store Update! There’s not a ton of content this time around as far as games go but if you like themes or game videos, then this may very well be the update you’ve been waiting for.
Available this week is the new PSN game Crescent Pale Mist which requires you to use ancient magic to save the world from certain annihilation. While there’s no demo or trial to go along with it, there are demos for Apache Air Assault and CSI: Fatal Conspiracy.
If you fancy those nifty dynamic themes then you should definitely cruise down to the theme section and check them out. Nine new themes grace the store today with six of them coming in dynamic fashion. Along with the overabundance of themes, there’s also 22 new videos to watch, including a new episode of Pulse and The Tester.

Today’s PS Store update is pretty awesome. Why? Because there’s a demo for Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage. That’s not your thing? That’s OK. There’s far more than just that.
There’s tons of deals this week for PlayStation Plus members – Burn Zombie Burn, Oddworld Abe’s Oddysee, and Bloons are now available free of charge. There’s even a demo for Tomb Raider: Underworld, which is now available as a downloadable title. The highlight for Plus members is obviously the Killzone 3 beta theme. Download it ASAP, only the first 5,000 will join the beta.
For everyone else, there’s tons of deals as well. The best ones are for both Oddworld games as they are half priced. For those looking for new games to downloads, there’s Aqua Panic and Costume Quest. As we mentioned earlier, Shienryu and Tall Unlimited are the latest additions to the PSone Import Store. In celebration of The Shoot’s launch today, there’s a new demo just waiting for you to play.
In terms of DLC, there’s new content for Zen Pinball, Dead Rising 2, ModNation Racers, and more.
Enjoy before your head explodes!
It’s that time again! Time for the North American PlayStation Store Update! While the update itself is pretty large, it’s a few of the games and demos released this week that really make it such an awesome addition.
For starters, there’s Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 and Dead Space Ignition. As if those games aren’t appealing enough, there’s a demo for both of them, meaning that if you’re not traditionally a Sonic or Dead Space fan, you can still get in on the action without it costing you anything.
Speaking of demos, there’s also one for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, just in case you want to see what it’s like on the dark side. Outside of that there’s also a special section with all kinds Halloween-themed games, themes, avatars and DLC.
Have a look at the complete list below and be sure to let us know what you’re picking up.
It’s time once again for the European PlayStation Store Update. This update is a tad disappointing when compared to previous iterations but the way we look at, you wouldn’t know what a good update was unless you had a bad one now and then, right?
Calling this a bad update is really the wrong choice of words, anyway. You’ve got Ferrari: The Race Challenge to look forward to, as well as a full one hour trial if you’re a Plus subscriber. Also new for Plus subscribers is Street Fighter HD Remix and the PSone classic, Kula World. If neither of those are blowing your skirt up, you’ve also got two Mini’s to choose from – Aero Racer and Yeti Sports.
Beyond that, there’s not a lot to be had. There is a demo for DJ Hero 2 and several intriguing game add-ons, so hopefully everyone will find something that wins them over. Click the link for the full list and be sure to let us know what you’re getting!
What’s that? Three fantastic European PS Store updates in a row? Surely not!

Also available this week are three new minis, demos for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, EA Sports MMA, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, My Sims: Sky Heroes, TerRover and WRC FIA World Rally Championship, as well as DLC for the likes of Borderlands, FIFA 11 and Mafia II, and much, much more.
