TedTheDog, Home Community Manager from the Official European PlayStation Forums, has informed gamers that Home update version 1.20 will be delayed.
On Thursday we informed you that the update for PlayStation Home was due this Thursday, however, you may have to wait around two weeks before it lands onto PS3s worldwide…
All right mate? We are almost done with all this update madness, in the home stretch if you will. No demos for you we’re afraid, only five free add-ons for your troubles. Unreal Tournament x1, Command & Concquer x1, FIFA 09 x1 and Naruto x2. A fair trade? We would like to think so. Go classic with your street fighting, unleash sonically with a Chu-Nan adventure, bring pain to the new guys or jam to that hot new Spongebob Squarepants song. We can’t wait for “The Campfire Song Song”…C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E-S-O-N-G song!
The Homerun returns for another week. So what is new this week we hear you ask? Well inside of Home it’s all been about Xi.
On Monday, a brand new space was opened as part of the Alternate Reality Game. Alpha Zone One delivers gamers the chance to beat the clock by completing mini-arcade games within six minutes.
It’s Thursday, and as with many Thursdays, Home has some new content. Today, both North America and Europe get Resistance 2 outfits. You can purchase these from the Shopping Centre/Mall in the Threads store.
There have been reports of the costumes disappearing from your wardrobes in the US, however, SCEA insist this is a bug and that they will reappear within 24 hours.
Want to show off your amazing baseball skills? What better way to prove this then by collecting all 30 trophies. 16 Bronze, 7 Silver, 6 Gold, and 1 Platinum are up for grabs.
Most of the trophies deal with winning streaks or calculated totals so don’t expect to earn them all in a weekend. From pitching a perfect game to having a 50 game hitting streak, MLB 09: The Show is making you earn every single trophy.
For the uninitiated, in MLB: The Show’s ‘Road To The Show’ you create your own player to be part of a baseball organization. You also control that player through their entire career while earning skill points from achieving a multitude of goals such as getting hits, stealing bases, etc… Your character starts in the lowly minor leagues and then tries to make his (no girls allowed) way up to the Major Leagues. Very RPG like no?
