Believe it or not, the PlayStation 3 was released nearly four years ago, and since then the console has been graced with hundreds of great titles. Therefore, we at PS3 Attitude thought we’d take some time to pay tribute to the people who create the games that make our mundane lives just that little bit more entertaining: the developers.
August marked the end of the summer shutdown with the release of Kane & Lynch 2, Madden NFL 2011, Mafia II and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. They managed to keep us entertained for a …
Who remembers the Medal of Honor beta? We got some extensive play time with it shortly after its launch, and while the core gameplay seemed solid, we were a tad concerned about some of the presentation. With their newest trailer, EA and DICE have eased our minds immensely.
Three new Medal of Honor screens have surfaced from EA’s side of the fence. Don’t lie to yourself… you know you want to see them.
FirstPlay has been with us for a few months now and it’s really starting to get into its stride, with great content appearing every week. But what can you find in this week’s episode?
EA could find themselves courting controversy with the upcoming Medal of Honor: the FPS, set in the modern day Afghanistan, will feature content that sees you play as Taliban characters. The game’s producer, Patrick Liu, has responded by saying that the content will not “provoke too hard.”

We’ve just caught wind that the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor will grant you access to the Battlefield 3 beta.
We know what you’re thinking, Battlefield 3 hasn’t been announced yet, and you’re right but that’s not stopping EA DICE from making this offer.
So far in 2010, we’ve been bombarded with several top quality games and had many interesting topics to discuss. We’ve been very lucky. July was, however, a very humdrum month. Sure, it’s normally dead the month after E3, but we were still looking out for the big releases, but sadly they never came.
Still, we found just enough to keep us interested during the mid-summer shutdown. We digested PlayStation Plus, got to grips with the Medal of Honor Beta and explored Hulu Plus. There were even a few new games announced that left us excited – not to mention an obscene amount of beat ‘em up news. There was also a big announcement here at PS3 Attitude. Here’s the review of the month…

The Californian rock back, Linkin Park, will be headlining the soundtrack for the new Medal of Honor game with ‘The Catalyst’, the lead song from their upcoming album called A Thousand Suns.
Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn has also directed his own teaser trailer for the game. It has ‘The Catalyst’ playing over live in-game footage that features the Tier 1 crew in action. The montage is broken up with bold statements warning of “merciless” enemies and “escalation”. It’s all very bombastic.
This week is pretty meh. There’s a craptacular PSone Classic that nobody wanted and a new episode of Sam & Max. Oh, and if you have PlayStation Plus you can try out Kane and Lynch 2. That’s it. The rest of this update is DLC, Deals, and Avatars.
The deals are quite good. After Burner Climax and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 are 50% off! Definitely take advantage of that deal while you can. For the fighting game fanatics out there, there are four avatars from Street Fighter III – 3rd Strike (Hugo, Q, Elena, Alex). Pretty boring update…
Can’t get enough of that Medal of Honor beta? The word from EA/DICE is that you’re going to get some extra time to soak it in.
We’ve known ever since E3 that Medal of Honor would be getting a limited edition for the PS3. Now, DICE has released a trailer about this alternate version of the game, but it’s not quite what we expected.
How so?
Twitter? Prizes? Well, it is Tuesday, and you know what that means don’t you?

Ubisoft’s Driver, which was once confirmed to release during Q3 of 2010, has now been pushed back until the fourth quarter of the fiscal year. That means anywhere between January 1st and March 31st of 2011.

Yaaaar!
If you’re anything like us here at Attitude Towers, you remember the good ol’ days. The days back when the PlayStation One ruled the console roost, and that one analog stick the N64 had was ‘over-rated’. Remember those times?
If so, then you might remember a little game called Medal of Honor. If you played shooters back in that era, then chances are you know exactly what Medal of Honor is.
We’re pleased to say that many years later, the franchise seems to be ready to try and take back the shooter crown; a mantel that it has since lost to the likes of titles such as Call of Duty and Battlefield.
With E3 over, it has become clear that one of the biggest gaming publishers, Electronic Arts, is really in love with the PlayStation 3.
In Sony’s E3 conference they announced exclusive content for Dead Space 2 and Medal of Honor, including Dead Space: Extraction and Medal of Honor: Frontline, bundled in special editions of the games.
