European PS Store Update for 8th September – Worms, Planes, and flying Hamsters

European PS Store Update for 8th September – Worms, Planes, and flying Hamsters

This is a pretty solid update but there’s still no sign of Castle Crashers. Don’t expect it to release next week either. It’s coming soon though…

Worm 2: Armageddon is finally on the PlayStation Network. There’s no excuse to not try this game out as there’s a trial version just begging to be played. If Worms aren’t your thing then you might be interested in Top Gun.

A demo for Tecmo’s upcoming shooter Quantum Theory is now available in Europe. From what we’ve played, it’s pretty horrible. Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments section. We’d love to read your impressions.

There’s also DLC for Dragon Age: Origins, Transformers: War for Cybertron, Mafia II, and Planet Minigolf. Oh, and Snoop Dogg is in Rock Band now. Enjoy!

European PS Store Update for 1st September – Great update even without Castle Crashers

European PS Store Update for 1st September – Great update even without Castle Crashers

Castle Crashers didn’t make it to Europe today. In fact, Sony isn’t even sure when the game will be releasing. Profound Sadness.

More surprisingly, Alien Breed Impact had a stealth release in Europe. This overhead shooter looks pretty interesting, so hopefully it’s fun. There is a trial version available so there’s no reason not to play it at least once.

Europeans received two actual PSone Classics this week in the form of Tomb Raider and Front Mission 3. Tomb Raider might be a bit outdated but Front Mission is still highly playable.

Demos for RUSE and Vanquish are ready for download. Be sure to let us know what you thought of both games. If you’re looking for a fast paced shooter with crazy flips and explosions, you’ll probably enjoy Vanquish a lot.

Aside from that, the usual suspects all have downloadable content. Resident Evil 5′s episodic DLC pack is on sale. Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape offer to very different experiences and are very much so worth the purchase. And of course, if you have a PSP, support Valkyria Chronicles II. ^_^

North American PS Store Update For August 31st – Best. Update. Ever.

North American PS Store Update For August 31st – Best. Update. Ever.

Awesome update is awesome!

Castle Crashers finally arrives on the PlayStation Network. Don’t know what to expect? No worries. There’s a trial version just waiting for you to download. Don’t miss out on this great multiplayer beat ‘em up.

If that’s not enough for you, be sure to try out the demos for Vanquish and RUSE. In terms of add-on content, Minerva’s Den is now available for Bioshock 2. Yakuza 3 also received DLC in the form of a Challenge Pack. This pack lets you play competitively against friends in Pool, Bowling, Darts, and Golf. It also features alternate costumes.

We don’t talk much about the PSP but today is a great day for Sony’s handheld. And that’s simply because Valkyria Chronicles II was just released. It’s truly a must-have title.

Tons of games are also on sale, including Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and all nine titles from TikCreat.

Enjoy :)
