Unless you haven’t been on the internet for a month, you’ll know that E3 starts in just a few days’ time, so we no doubt have dozens of game reveals to look forward to over the next week or so. Before that though, PS3 Attitude thought we’d take a look at some of the games that have already been announced, and, more specifically, what they need to prove at the expo.

The title nearly says it all. An official YouTube app for PlayStation Vita will arrive end of June according to the official PlayStation Blog. Finally, a video app for the Vita…wait.

If you’re at all familiar with iD software you already know their job is not to predict the future of the PS3, instead they plan to be a part of it by releasing Doom 3 BFG Edition. Turn the lights off and crank the sound, this will be one hell of a shootout.

This slick third-person shooter from Rockstar is the latest instalment in a series which began in 2001. The first two games were developed by Remedy Entertainment, but the Max Payne series is now in the hands of Bully developer Rockstar Vancouver.

Announced just today, Spy Hunter will find itself refreshed and rebooted on the PS Vita this fall. A classic vehicular shooter like Spy Hunter will serve itself nicely amongst the lack of classic reboots offered up for the Vita thus far.

Hitman Absolution will be showcased at E3 next week and IO Interactive and Square Enix have teased his upcoming appearance with a new “Attack of the Saints” trailer. Featuring a specialized ICA wetworks team known as ‘The Saints,’ the trailer shows us just why Agent 47 is the original assassin.

The old school Dreamcast favourite, Jet Set Radio, is coming to PS Vita. A PS3 version was announced back in February, but SEGA can now confirm that there will also be a handheld version with additional features.

DmC – Devil May Cry, the next instalment in the hugely popular Devil May Cry franchise, will see a simultaneous release in Europe and North America for PlayStation 3 on January 15th, 2013.

Originally planned for release later this year, SEGA’s Aliens; Colonial Marines has finally been given a more concrete worldwide release date; 12 February 2013. Hopefully the release date sticks this time around, and fans won’t have to wait any longer to choose between Marines or Xenomorphs.

Thank goodness for the advent of email, so all of us eager PS3 gamers the world over can get our Dust 514 beta registration on. Registration for the closed beta is officially open to the public for a short period of time. Select Eve Online players and Eve Fanfest attendees will get in first, while the rest of us now have a shimmer of hope.

EA has released a batch of new screens for Crysis 3 featuring the nanosuit sporting Prophet in a variety of defiant poses, many of which with his new crossbow. There are also a few pieces of concept art that showcase the deterioration of New York City into a jungle swampland.

It’s been a while since we last heard word about Naughty Dog’s upcoming post-apocalyptic survival game, The Last of Us, but the studio has just released a new cinematic trailer revealing that Joel and Ellie aren’t the only survivors out there.

Sega has announced details on the latest installment in the long running Virtua Fighter series. Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will be available as a standalone downloadable game over PSN on 5 June. Also announced were details about pricing and launch day DLC. Read on to get all the facts on the 3D fighter that started it all.

Tomb Raider has been delayed until the first quarter of 2013, Crystal Dynamics announced on the official forums. The highly anticipated game now joins BioShock Infinite as titles that will miss their original fall 2012 release date. But hey, at least 2013 is shaping up to be a fantastic year, right?

Sony today announced that 1.8m PS Vitas have been shifted worldwide since launch, up 600k from the 1.2m figure the company posted in late February.

Sony is predicting combined Vita and PSP sales of 16m by the end of this current financial year with Vita expected to make up 10m of that figure, so clearly sales are below what was expectation.

2K Games has announced that BioShock Infiite will miss its scheduled October release to instead hit stores on 26 February 2013. This unfortunately is a big blow for Stefhutch20, Majiesto and myself, because we all included Infinite in our hottest PS3 games of 2012 list. That’ll teach us not to learn lessons from previous BioShock delays.

Sony and The Workshop have released a second developer diary for the upcoming PS Move title, Sorcery, this time covering the game’s story and characters.

Lightbox Interactive’s Starhawk comes out today in North American and tomorrow in Europe and to celebrate, Dylan Jobe has announced that all future map packs for the game will be available for free to all players. That’s right, you won’t have to pay a single cent to download new battlegrounds. How cool is that?
