Motorstorm 3.1 patch adds to gameplay

Motorstorm receives another patch today. Despite the version number moving up to just 3.1, this patch adds a couple of nice options that will aid gameplay and provide more variety.
Firstly, you can now decide on a 2D car selection grid instead of the traditional 3D view. This is designed to speed up vehicle selection so you can get into your game quicker.
A proximity meter has been included to show where your competitors are, much like the one in Eliminator mode.
The biggest change is the option to reverse the geometry of every track when hosting a game. Now, you'll have to get used to turning left where you once turned right, which will spice things up somewhat.
All-in-all, it's another example of the incredible value for money PS3 games seem to exhibit as developers continue to improve and add features to their games.

After all the games that has finally come to the PS3, this remains my stock fun game along with Assassin's Creed and Super Stardust HD. I've grabbed every expansion they've released, no matter how tiny.
