Latest PlayStation Store screens show new features
Whilst Grace has confirmed what we knew - a video will be out next week to walk us through the new Store - the new screenshots that were put up at the blog show off an extra feature not seen before.
Looking at the third picture in our gallery (below), you'll see a 'preview' button. Some keen readers spotted this and asked what previews we can expect, and Grace had the - erm - grace to reply:
"Sometimes it will be a video, other times it may be screenshots."Simply put, in some cases you'll be able to watch a preview video of the game you're about to buy, which is a great idea.
The red bag you see in one of the screens signifies that you have already bought that item.
Along with the 'filter by type of game' functionality and the altogether fresher look, this update is looking mighty nice.
In case you hadn't heard, the new Store doesn't use the browser as it's engine and will require a firmware upgrade to version 2.30. It will still be region-free, so those of us with multiple region accounts won't be locked out.
