We already covered the Warhawk v1.3 patch back in February, and we created an event for it at the PS3 Attitude Calendar.

You know the calendar, don't you? It's that so-accurate-it-actually-defies-gravity feature we have here that tells you all the upcoming releases and events in the PS3 universe. Heck, you can even embed it on your site using the 'share' button on the widget version in the sidebar.

So just as a reminder, the patch is being implemented today.

Warhawk's servers will be down from between 10:00 and 16:00 UK time. After that, the patch will be available for free download.

Considering it is free, this update does deliver on all levels. Two new 'weapons', one being a wrench to repair vehicles (and smack the crap outof the enemy) and the other being a bio-field emitter.

This is also the update that includes the winning insignia and paint designs from the Warhawk competition. There are also a few extra features added, such as Home integration (for when Home launches) and changes to the CTF games.

All these updates are well timed for the release of Operation Broken Mirror when the PS Store returns.
