Play Fatal Inertia tomorrow via the PS Store; destroys 'delay' rumours

As well as forthcoming Euro demos of Bladestorm (which you may have downloaded via the Japanese store) and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam (which you may have downloaded via the US store), we're going to get a demo of Fatal Inertia on the Euro store tomorrow.

This trio of Koei demos proves that not every single Koei game relies heavily on mashing the 'square' button until the current wave of 3,000 enemies have been vanquished. No. In fact, only 90% of Koei games rely on that particular technique!

Fatal Inertia is a futuristic 'hover car' game in the mould of Wipeout. Download it tomorrow and see for yourself what it's all about.

As a sidenote, the fact that the demo is available tomorrow does knock out all those 'Unreal Engine' related issues that seemed for such a long time to be holding up the PS3 version of Koei's racing game. In fact, this PS3 demo comes only a few days after the Xbox 360 version hit their Marketplace...

I was so hyped for this game when it was first shown at E3 a couple years ago. Then it fell off the radar for a few months. Then there was talk of it becoming a 360 exclusive. Then there were the U3 engine problems that you've mentioned. Now, there's such bad publicity about the horrid gameplay. Of course I'll download it, but my expectations are tremendously low.

Hey DolphGB,
This is MoeBT on PSN. It is indeed interesting that we're seeing the demo for this game so soon after all the debacle that took place a short few weeks ago.

sweet tidbit. Read it on PS3fanboy. I heard the 360$ version wasn't that great. Guess YOU'LL see if its any good. I hadn't been planning on making a UK account anytime.

If you know of an address I can use, send it my way. You know my email address.

By the way, the Gundam demo is alright. But keep your eyes peeled for Heavenly Sword. That game is gonna be awesome! Love the demo!!!

Hey all - just wanted to say sorry for not checking this out properly and jumping in with the news... See the full apology further up the blog... Demo now not coming this week or PS3... Reports of the X360 version though suggest it WON'T be worth the wait anyhow ;-)
